Position overview:

We are seeking a passionate and talented Additive Manufacturing Junior Engineer to join our
dynamic team. As a Junior Engineer at Äerd Lab, you will play a crucial role in
the development and optimization of our 3D printing processes for raw clay
bricks. You will work closely with our young engineering team to ensure the
quality and efficiency of our manufacturing techniques.

 Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design, development, and optimization of 3D printing processes for raw clay bricks.
• Operate and maintain 3D printing equipment and related machinery.
• Conduct experiments to test and refine printing parameters.
• Analyze data and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to the additive manufacturing process.
• Document and report findings, procedures, and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in 3D printing technology.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field.
• Knowledge of additive manufacturing technologies, particularly 3D printing.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced start-up environment.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Passion for sustainable construction and innovation.
• Minimum B2 level in English; French or German is an advantage.
